During my fourth semester at Mohawk College, I was tasked with my final project: to create a movie poster of my choice along with an effect that we had learned or wanted to learn included in the poster. Over the semester, we were shown a process that would best help us in the pursuit of creating the movie poster. Initially, we outlined the possible effects we might use, like grunge, painted-on, light trails or double exposures. The next step was to give three possible movies to choose from, like Top Gun, Road to Le Mans, or The Martian and replicate the lighting in the photos I had chosen. Knowing that popular films like Top Gun and The Martin were going to be picked by other classmates, I went with Road to Le Mans as a unique choice.
