Social Media Content & Management

Tools:

Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and iRacing

I wanted to be more involved in the 2024-25 season of IVRA. The previous year didn’t go as planned, as my content became less used and often not at all. After finding out that the team running the championship would be busy with the actual running of the two series, I offered my services to them to run both Instagram and Twitter accounts on their behalf.

Since I didn’t get to use most of the files for last year’s season, I had a lot of time to refine the templates I had made. And since I planned to create a social calendar to plan out the months in advance, I would be prepared for the race weeks. Since the accounts were inactive for an entire season, building up the hype around the championships would be crucial.

One content idea I had in the beginning was an infographic. Since the account would be attaching newcomers, some viewers would not know the type of series we would be racing. Information about the cars and tracks we would head to would inform teams and viewers about the kind of event. And man, was it challenging to make those illustrated cars.

I also had to create the 2024-25 Calendar. Unlike the year before, when I was created by another, this time, I got to use the new design style.
